Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following terms will apply:

1.1 Cancellation Timeline & Refund Policy

  • More than 30 days before the tour/trek start date – Full refund or option to reschedule.
  • 15-30 days before the tour/trek start date – 75% refund or option to reschedule.
  • 7-14 days before the tour/trek start date – 50% refund or option to reschedule.
  • Less than 7 days before the tour/trek start date – No refund, but you may transfer your booking to another person.

1.2 Rescheduling Requests

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability. If you wish to move your booking to another date, please inform us as soon as possible.
  • If rescheduling is requested within 7 days of the tour/trek, a small administrative fee may apply.

1.3 No-Show Policy

  • If you do not attend the tour/trek without prior notice, no refund or rescheduling will be permitted.

2. Cancellation by Peak Walkers

While we strive to run all scheduled tours/treks, certain circumstances may require us to cancel or reschedule.

2.1 Weather-Related Cancellations

  • Our tours/treks operate in various weather conditions, but if conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., extreme storms, landslides, or other hazardous conditions), we will cancel the trek.
  • In such cases, you will be given the option of a full refund or rescheduling to a later date.

2.2 Minimum Group Size Requirement

  • Some tours/treks require a minimum number of participants. If this number is not met, we may cancel the booking and offer you a full refund or an alternative date.

2.3 Unforeseen Circumstances

  • In the rare event of cancellations due to unforeseen operational issues, guide unavailability, or force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, or pandemic-related restrictions), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

3. Late Arrivals & Partial Participation

  • If you arrive late and miss the tour/trek departure, no refunds will be issued.
  • If you choose to leave a tour/trek before its completion for any reason, no partial refunds will be given.

4. Booking Transfers

  • If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional cost, provided you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
  • The new participant must meet all eligibility requirements and provide necessary information before the tour/trek.

5. How to Request a Cancellation or Change

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
